The Event

Fall TV is just 4 months away. Time once again to see what's when and where on the big 4 networks. Most notable moves are Big Bang Theory to Thursdays and Glee to Tuesday at 8:00. I'm sad to see Human Target moved to Fridays, as that usually means it's done, but at least they didn't cancel it after one season, which is more than I can say for Flash Forward. Hopefully filling its stylistic shoes is NBC's "The Event," a conspiracy thriller starring Blair Underwood and Jason Ritter. JJ Abrams' "Undercovers" would just seem to be a tamer, small screen "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," but it's Abrams, so it could do well. I have hopes for Michael Chiklis' "No Ordinary Family" and William Shatner's Twitter-inspired comedy "$#*! My Dad Says." I expect "Outsourced" to be among the first of the new crop to go, but we'll see. Monday looks to be an all-out battle, but my DV-R doesn't much care who wins.
