Building a Mystery
Click image to see the teaser trailerLast year, Big Fish Games released my favorite hidden object game: Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst. While it was still largely a series of images with lists of items to find, it pushed the genre more into adventure territory with an immersive story, which I love. Well, MCF is back with Dire Grove. Expected to be released in early-mid December, Big Fish's latest entry in the MCF series is the company's largest production to date. They continue to challenge each successive release to be bigger and better than the last, this time by incorporating video footage in a "Blair Witch meets The Shining"-like scenario. Check out the trailer. It looks to be a unique gaming experience.
Update: Big Fish will be releasing a special Collector's Edition to Game Club Members on November 25th for $19.99. Check out the extras!

I'm excited. MCF is just great. =)
Oooo...extras! Too bad it's going to be 20 bucks. I'm used to my BFG being like 6 bucks. I wonder if I use an existing credit on it if it knocks the price down...hrm...*ponders* I'll have to ask that. =P
Or you can wait 2 or 3 weeks and pay $6.99 for the regular version. Either way... must... play.

Either way...MCF makes the best hidden object games.
