September

It's that time of year again. Time to do a lot of typing for a very small audience. Yes, it's the fall tv schedule. I've left The CW out because, well, I'm 40 years old. I'll be watching Smallville. And that covers The CW for me.

Gone are My Name Is Earl, Samantha Who, Pushing Daisies, The Unit and Without A Trace (among others). Law & Order: Criminal Intent has been permanently relocated to USA Network. Many shows, including Scrubs, New Adventures Of Old Christine and Cold Case, were saved at the last minute, while many more, such as Chuck and Better Off Ted, will have to wait for midseason.

Lots of familiar faces returning in various series - Chris O'Donnell, Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton, Jenna Elfman, Ed O'Neill, Christine Baranski and Sara Rue just to name a few.

With that, here's the "shed yule":

*sigh*

So I'll be watching "House" and "The Mentalist" and not much else. May watch "Smallville", only dived into that one this year. Bits I like, bits I hate.

Do I even wanna know what "Cougar Town" is? I think I can guess... ewwww...

"Smallville" is a shadow of its former self. May be why its moving to Fridays next season. Still, I want to see how they conclude the series. Wish they would do it soon.

"Cougar Town" is a sitcom starring Courteney Cox as a divorced single mom wookin pa nub. Co-stars Christa Miller.

My biggest hope for among the new series is "Flash Forward," but it all depends on the writing. I'll check out "Hank," starring Kelsey Grammer as a newly out of work executive. I'll give "Community" a try and may peek at "Eastwick."

The new "V" comes midseason, but the original was pretty cheesy, so I'm not optimistic for that one.
